A redesign of the web presence for Nova Seafood, a Szczecin seafood importer trading since 2013. The brief: look like a creative agency built it, back it with hard SEO, and harden it to corporate security standards.

01

Art direction — Arctic Luxury

Deep navy, glacier cyan and ice white; Space Grotesk set ultra-tight against aurora gradients and a film-grain overlay. A zero-dependency snow-particle system runs on a Canvas 2D layer — device-pixel-ratio aware, scaled to the viewport, and fully disabled under prefers-reduced-motion.

A catalog you can actually search

35 species — marine and freshwater — filter live by Polish, English or Latin name, each with product photography in a lightbox. An interactive map of 15 FAO fishing zones ties every product back to where it was caught, turning traceability into something you can click through.

An own brand, and corporate-grade hardening

The site also showcases NovaTiger — Nova Seafood's own white-shrimp line — across the darkest, most cinematic section of the design. Under the hood it's hardened to match: a dev/prod-split Content-Security-Policy that drops unsafe-eval in production, HSTS preloaded for two years, full PL/EN i18n, and a no-JS safety net that still reveals every product if hydration fails.
